One Hell Of A Weekend

Ive been slacking lately as far as posting goes, but for good reason. I took a ton of quality pictures this weekend so decided instead of doing different posts i was gonna do one big post about this weekend. Originally we supposed to go to a swap meet but Colton had confused the days and found out the swap meet was Sunday. Despite finding out Coltons memory is about as useful as a poopy flavored lolly pop, we decided to go for a ride anyway. First it was off to love cycles (you can check out his craftsmanship here a really cool shop in phoenix where the owner is an expert in everything vintage H-D and Triumph. His shop was really awesome, the man is swimming in parts. He has had bikes hes built in the horse not to mention all of the customers he has all over the world, yet had no problem letting us bullshit with him in his shop for a bit. After a hanging out for a bit we decided to hit the road and head to Go Kat Go, a really cool local antique shop. Go Kat Go was a real nice place, they are almost of combination of antique shop and vintage chopper culture shop. We hung out there for awhile and explored some of the cool stuff, but had to cut it short since i had to run home and take Mary out on a date for her 22nd birthday which was very pleasant. Sunday i headed to Coltons to meet everybody for a ride to the swap meet at arrowhead Harley. The ride there was great, we were in the rich part of town where they can afford one of the things i really miss while living in the desert...grass. I bought my front fender down with us in hopes of trading it for either some new grips or a pair of fork boots. The swap meet was some what of a bust since there were only a few tables, probally due to the fact that ramjet was having a customer appreciation day. Once i search the few tables there i was lucky enough to find the grips i wanted and traded my front fender for them. After enjoying that area for awhile Colton Chayne and Taco headed to ramjet (lucky for us colton took some pictures while he was there which will be coming up soon) while i had to head back home to move a new craigslist found couch that we got for free, and a table we found on craigslist also all thanks to Darrell for helping us move everything in his sweet van. After getting all settled with our new furniture i went to Chris's for a little bit to put on my new grips. Once i got my new grips put on Monica, Tony, Greg and Cody met me at our apartment and we took a ride out to Greasewood Flat a pretty cool outdoor cowboy bar. Alex met us there once he was done working on his chopper. After enjoying the live bands and cool scenery we hit the road to get rest after a fun weekend. Unfortunately Alex took a spill on the way home and broke his foot, heel up Alex we cant wait till your on the road again.
